Westernport Group
Shoreham CFA is part of the Westernport Group of Brigades, made up of Balnarring, Baxter, Bittern, Crib Point, Hastings, Hastings Coast Guard, Langwarrin, Moorooduc, Mornington, Red Hill, Somers, Sommerville, Tyabb and Shoreham. The Group supports the Brigades with shared resources, training and expertise as required.
Barefoot bowls competition
On Friday the 6th March, the Group had its annual Barefoot bowls competition hosted by Balnarring. Approximately 35 – 40 individuals, representing some of the brigades, hotly contested the trophy.
Shoreham triumphs !
In the end, Shoreham Firefighter and Treasurer, Chris Riches triumphed in the Grand Final beating (also from Shoreham) Paul Curtin, our elected new 3rd Lieutenant from Shoreham.
