On the morning of Friday, 6th December the Shoreham CFA President Sue Wilding, tanker, ultra-light and crew attended a morning tea with the residents of Annies Court Aged Care Home on Nelson Street. The Shoreham Community Association’s monthly Meet the Neighbours group and Annies Court kitchen put on a spread of fine foods for all to enjoy.
Many of the residents took the opportunity to enjoy the company, food and inspect the tanker and ultra-light vehicles.
Our thanks to Jarrod and Andrew from Annies Court who gave us the opportunity to participate in the morning’s event.
It was a far more relaxed and enjoyable visit than on the morning of Sunday, 1st December – with the smoke alarms and sirens sounding as a result of burnt toast !
